A Fresno man, who was barbecuing at 3 a.m. (??), successfully saved his slab of ribs when a fire broke out at his apartment complex. He followed this heroic act by giving a pretty amazing interview to the local TV station.
“The only thing I think first is make sure them ribs is right and I ran over and got my family man,” Wright said in the interview with Fox 26.
And why was he barbecuing so damn late? Well…
“It was three o’clock in the morning, I was hungry man, I was like put them ribs on there,” he said in the interview.
Wright added that he did not need any medical attention, “I didn’t get any injuries except for all the smoke in my lungs, but I already had smoke in my lungs so I’m alright,” he said.
