This weekend, you can have delicious ice cream delivered to your work, house, apartment, cave, dungeon, etc. thanks to the new Postmates delivery service.
Postmates is new to the Coachella Valley and will deliver all kinds of things to you (see previous posts about it here and here) and, this weekend only, residents of most Coachella Valley cities can get “ice cream on-demand”.
Here is how it works.
- Just go to the Postmates website or download the app. (when you sign up, use the code tnys1 and get $10 of delivery credits to use later).
- Then, between 11am-8pm Saturday or Sunday and find the Free Ice Cream On-Demand store.
- Add your FREE pint of chocolate, vanilla or postmates pick (limit 1)
- Checkout someone will deliver you cold, refreshing ice cream delivered in minutes!
Now do note, that the ice cream and delivery are free, but you can still (and probably should) tip your driver.

Lesson: somehow ice cream tastes even better when it is free and I do not have to drive to get it.
