Authorities in San Diego are working to track down a man who has been nicknamed “the hipster bandit”.
The bank robber, said to be in his early 30s, robbed the U.S Bank inside an Albertons in Fallbrook just after 10 a.m. Friday morning. He was handed an undisclosed amount of money after handing the teller a note, then fled.
Witnesses described him as a white guy who is about 5-foot-4-inches tall and 110 pounds with short brown hair, freckles and protruding ears, reports CBS 8.
The FBI also believes the same guy robbed another U.S. Bank (also inside an Albertsons) in La Mesa in early July.
