Yeah, yeah…I know. New Year’s Eve is the last thing on your mind at this point in the year – but, it will be here sooner than you think. With that in mind, Spa Resort Casino has announced a free New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31st.
During a live interview with KMIR, Spa announced that there will be a concert with Starship with Mickey Thomas during the night. The concert will cost you money, but there will also be other events on the property that you can enjoy for free – including fireworks, a west coast countdown, and east coast countdown (you know, so old people need to get to sleep!)
The casino is also doing some sort of “ball drop” with a desert theme, but has not yet announced what the thing is that will be dropped – so in the meantime, let your imagination run wild.
The event will be televised on KMIR and broadcast on the radio – so you do not even have to leave your couch (or put on pants) to enjoy.
Information about the event right now is still kind of…well…meh. So, this post will be updated as more details are announced.
