The Coachella Valley will see quite the cooldown this week.
After hitting 88 degrees on Monday, the high temperature will drop down to the low 70’s by Tuesday – with overnight lows down in to the low 50s (giving you a chance to break out that sweater you thought you would never get to wear). Look for high temps to remain in the 70s throughout the end of the week.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory, with 35 mph winds expected and gusts of up 65 mph possible in the pass.
And while The Coachella Valley is not predicted to get much, if any, rain – the rest of Southern California will see some showers, and there is even a chance of getting some snow above 6,000 feet…
Rain & high elevation snow will develop Monday evening and continue thru Tue morning. #cawx pic.twitter.com/01tySfOfBi

…so maybe go ahead and guess today or tomorrow in the Palm Springs Tramway’s snow guessing contest.
