The 2015-2016 ski season opens this week as Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake has announced that they will open on Friday.
Big Bear has already seen a little bit of snow this season, just not enough to open a ski resort – but, it looks like the team at Bear Mountain has been hard at work with the snow guns and now they expect to open both Chair 7 (beginner) and Chair 9 beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday. Opening day lift tickets are $35.
