Multiple reports have identified the woman behind the wheel in Sunday night’s deadly crash on the Las Vegas Strip as 24-year-old Lakeisha Holloway.
Clark County booking records show a Lakeisha Holloway, an Oregon resident, booked into the Clark County Detention Center early Monday on charges of open murder, child abuse/neglect and failure to stop at a scene involving a death or injury.
Holloway is accused of intentionally driving a car up onto The Las Vegas Strip sidewalk and hitting dozens of people – all while a 3-year-old was in the car with her, according to police. Witnesses tell the New York Times that she was traveling at around 30 to 40 miles per hour when she hit the first victims.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo said the suspect may have been living out of her car and was estranged from the father of her daughter.
Authorities are still trying to determine a cause, and while terrorism is not suspected, officials “are not 100 percent ruling out terrorism,” Lombardo said.
One person was killed, identified by the Clark County Coroner’s office as 32-year-old Jessica Valenzuela of Buckeye, Arizona. 35 others were injured, with three hospitalized in critical condition.
Holloway is expected to appear in court Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m.
