San Francisco’s latest attempt to get people to stop pissing anywhere and everywhere is now being threatened with a lawsuit if the outdoor urinal is not removed in the next 20 days.

The circular urinal was installed as part of renovations at Dolores Park and was an attempt by the city to get the public to stop peeing in bushes and sidewalks – but, now at least 6 civic groups say that it must go.
“This is more than stunning and disgusting. It’s a human regression of mankind,” Frank Lee with the Pacific Justice Institute, one of the groups that joined forces in protest, told The LA Times. “If this is not stopped, this will become the norm in San Francisco and spread to other cities.”

Others in the city do not see an issue with it. “Honestly, we were ready to go pee anywhere,” San Francisco resident Aaron Cutler told KNTV after the urinal was installed. “So any facility is better than none.”
The city says that the urinal cost $15,000 (!) to install and that they have, so far, received only 5 email complaints about it. But, it has given the local news an excuse to try and film people taking a piss…only to see no one is actually using the new urinal.
