According to a study, all the fellas out there should hand over the keys immediately to their woman.
The study, which was conducted by the auto insurance company 4autoinsurancequote (seriously, was every other possible insurance business name taken?), concluded that 80 percent of all fatal and serious car crashes are caused by male drivers. The study also says that women are 27 percent less likely than men to cause auto accidents and that male drivers out-number females 3 to 1 for DUI violations.
“It’s almost scary how bad the average American man is at driving,” 4autoinsurancequote (that name!) CEO James Shaffer told NBC 4. “Blame it on whatever you want – high testosterone, higher propensity to take risks, or higher levels of aggression, but the fact remains – men simply make too many mistakes behind the wheel.”
This all might explain why men pay an average of $765 for a 6 month insurance policy, while women only pay $698.
