A woman hiking the Skyline Trail in Palm Springs was airlifted to a hospital on Wednesday after bring bitten by a rattlesnake.

The woman was airlifted from several miles up the trail by a CHP helicopter to a landing zone in Palm Springs, then taken by ambulance to the hospital just after 11.am., reports KMIR.
The woman’s condition is not known, but KESQ reports she was stable when paramedics treated her in the ambulance.
