A TV reporter was arrested and is now unemployed after he popped a squat on a someone’s lawn.

A Goodyear, Arizona resident called 911 on May 16 to report that she saw a man, that she recognized from the television as KPHO/KTVK reporter Jonathan Lowe, grab several papers from the street, stroll on to her yard and “squat while leaning against the wall of the residence and proceeded to defecate in the yard,” according to UPI.

Once finished, Lowe then walked back to the news van – which had been parked in the same spot for about 40 minutes.

When the officer arrived, Lowe admitted to dropping some kids off at the pool.

“I know what you want me to talk to me about,” the report quotes Lowe as saying. “I’ve been feeling very sick and I’ve been stuck in this van all day. So I went over to that person’s yard and took care of business. Those people who called on me just wanted to start problems.”

Lowe was arrested on a charge of public defecation and is no longer with the TV station.

The police report mentions that the woman told police “that if Jonathan had knocked on their door, she would’ve let him use their bathroom.”
