Today has been an especially dangerous day on Coachella Valley roads.  A woman was killed and a man seriously injured in an accident involving a big rig on the 10 freeway this morning, one person was killed and another injured in an accident this afternoon on Highway 111 in Palm Desert, and a Sheriff’s Department employee did not yield and hit a cyclist with a patrol car in Rancho Mirage.

The roads can always be a dangerous place and today is just an awful reminder of that.

Drive safe or, better yet, stay home and watch the new season of Orange is the New Black.
