Television psychic Miss Cleo has died at the age of 53 after battling cancer, reports TMZ.
Her commercials were impossible to miss during the 90’s – wth her catchprase, “call me now” being instantly recognizable to viewers.
Miss Cleo, real name was Youree Harris, was actually from Los Angeles and used a fake accent in the commercials.
The company behind Miss Cleo, the Psychic Readers Network, was sued numerous times and the Federal Trade Commission charged them with deceptive advertising, billing and collection practices, in a case that was eventually settled out of court.
RIP, Miss Cleo.
