While California voted just a couple of weeks ago to legalize the use of recreation marijuana, the entitled old person haven that is Rancho Mirage this week expanded its dumb laws governing the use of and growing marijuana in the city.
The City Council took a break from banning young adults and bitching about CV Link on Thursday to expand their ban of weed to include the use or manufacturing of recreational pot in the city, reports the Desert Sun.
The city’s ordinance also calls for any marijuana plants grown in a residence – which Prop 64 allows – must be hidden from the view of the eyes of the delicate flowers that live in the city.
“They can’t be seen from a public street or sidewalk,” City Attorney Steve Quintanilla said.
No word on why the city is so stressed, anxious, and angry about the legalization of recreational weed, but it sure sounds like they could really benefit from the calming effects of cannabis.
