Netflix is fantastic, assuming you have an internet connection. But what about those time you are on a plane, a backseat, or stuck in a place with no Wi-Fi? Finally, Netflix has a solution for you.
Certain shows are now available to be downloaded, starting today, on the Netflix mobile app. Some of the series include: Orange is the New Black, Narcos, Stranger Things, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
From the press release:
Many of your favorite streaming series and movies are already available for download, with more on the way, so there is plenty of content available for those times when you are offline. For example, Orange is The New Black, Narcos, and The Crown are available for download today.
The release goes on to say that, “while many members enjoy watching Netflix at home, we’ve often heard they also want to continue their Stranger Things’ binge while on airplanes and other places where internet is expensive or limited.”
Amazon offers a similar service for many of its shows available for viewing on Amazon Prime and, now that Netflix has it too, it is nice to know flying will be a bit more bearable – well, unless you are sitting anywhere near this asshole.
