Bobby Duke Middle School in Coachella had a special visit from an Academy Award and Grammy Award winning rapper, actor, film producer and poet on Wednesday.
Common spoke to students and teachers about the Restorative Justice program at he school.
Restorative Justice seeks alternatives to suspension and expulsion for students, with an eye toward increasing graduation rates and college attainment.
