Back in August of 2011, host Anothony Bourdain brought his show “No Reservations” to Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, Landers, and even Rancho Mirage.
“And once you’re past Palm Springs into the high desert, people start to vibrate at a different pitch than they do elsewhere,” Bourdain proclaims in the broadcast.
The episode had Bourdain cruising around with Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme to some stoney sights like the Integratron and the Rancho de La Luna recording studio and grabbing some grub at Joshua Tree Kitchen, Pappy and Harriet’s, Lord Fletcher’s, and even Anthony Vinyards near the Salton Sea to picnic with the local workers.
