A Facebook Live video from KMIR, which was billed as an update on a crash on the 10 Freeway that sent three cheerleaders to the hospital, included very little actual news updates on the incident. Instead, nineteen viewers were treated to reporter Patrick Price in a parked van in Palm Springs where he discusses his sleep habits, gives a lengthy restaurant review for “Manhattan’s,” shouts out names, and promotes a future story that is totally unrelated to the crash – and all of it while applying an ample amount of makeup.
The whole thing is just eight minutes of pure magic (spoiler alert: the first 30 seconds are especially dramatic and surprising).
