Disneyland has announced the launch of MaxPass, which will allow people to grab a FastPass on their smartphone, on July 19.
The MaxPass will work like a FastPass without the need to actually get the paper tickets, which will also still be available, but will cost an extra 10 bucks a day, according to the Disney Parks website. Season Pass holders can add an annual MaxPass for $75 per year.
The new digital pass will also follow the rules of the existing system – allowing just one FastPass at a time and a delay before the next one can be attained.
There are 16 attractions at Disneyland and California Adventure that use the FastPass system.
