Weekend anchor / reporter Angela Monroe said farewell to KMIR viewers on Sunday night.
“It has been incredible working and living in the Coachella Valley for seven and a half years,” Monroe said during the newscast.
She also announced she has taken a job in Wichita, Kansas.

Monroe will continue reporting for the station through Wednesday. Popular weather guesser Ginger Jeffries will also be exiting the station later this month.
Entravision announced last week it was buying KMIR, along with sister station KPSE, for $21 million.
