
A man is dead after likely being hit Friday morning by a vehicle in Indio.
Police were called a little after 6 am to the intersection of Avenue 43 and Calhoun Street, according to KESQ.

Authorities told the Desert Sun that a man in his 20s or 30s appeared to have been hit by a vehicle, but that they wouldn’t be sure police wouldn’t know for sure until the coroner determines a cause of death.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
