A man was arrested by Cathedral City police on suspicion of possessing child pornography after being called by a phone repair store.
Vicente Celio, 51, of Rancho Mirage, has been charged on nine counts of possessing child porn, reports the Desert Sun. Police say Celio had pictures and videos of boys and girls between 3 and 13-years-old involved in sexual activity.
An employee of a phone repair business made a phone call to police at about 7pm on September 19, according to KMIR. Officers investigated the images on the phone and located and arrested Celio. He admitted to police that her knew about the videos and pics.
Celio was released on bail on Saturday. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 3.
