A Yucca Valley man was arrested on Friday after police say he committed strong arm robbery of six hot dogs.
Michael Matson, 41, entered a gas station convenience store in the 56200 block of 29 Palms Highway at about 9:30 pm Thursday night and grabbed a hot dog, according to Z107.7. Matson was confronted by a store employee about the hot dog and responded, “what are you going to do about it?” before hitting the clerk’s arm, knocking a phone out of his hand.
Matson then grabbed five more hot dogs and fled.
He was arrested the following morning and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
