A hiker who went missing this weekend in Joshua Tree has been found.
David Sewell was located alive by search personnel in the national park on Tuesday. Park officials tweeted that Sewell was conscious and talking when searchers found him.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Sewell, who has numerous health issues including being legally blind, left a note on his vehicle at the Quail Springs day use area parking lot, according to Z107.7. The note stated that he was leaving at 8:45 am Saturday morning and, if he was not back by Sunday, April 22, he would need help.
Approximately 50 searchers, two K-9 teams, and rotary wing air support from California Highway Patrol were involved in the search.
