President Barack Obama has now made 3 trips to The Coachella Valley:
- June, 2013 to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping (and golf)
- February, 2014 to meet with King Abdullah (and golf…and watch True Detective!)
- June, 2014 to golf – and to look for a post-White House home.
Okay, well no one from The White House said that The Obamas were house hunting, but it sounded cool and would get some clicks on the internet, so the local newspaper went with it and then really went with it. This in turn led to other “reports” about The President and First Lady House Hunting in Rancho Mirage (here, here, and here).
Ahhhh…but wait! Now we find out The President eats at Chipotle and there is not 1, not 2, but 3 Chipotles in The Coachella Valley!!! Well, that must mean The Obamas are coming to the Coachella Valley and that is bad news for the poor Chipotle employee who has to clean the sneeze guard.
