It appears there is not much we can do to stop people from heading out to the local hiking trails even when the temperature is way too hot to hike and potentially lethal – but can we at least not celebrate them by putting them on the TV?

Yeah, I know, the local tv news has to fill some time in between all those Measure C and terrible Jan Harnik commercials, but maybe it can cover literally anything else instead?
