The pumpkin spice takeover is almost here

Sure, it’s hot af outside and the last thing you are thinking about are the flavors of fall, but that’s not stopping all things pumpkin from invading Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, Trader Joe’s, Dairy Queen, Target and, let’s face it, just about everywhere else.

Dunkin’ Donuts announced Friday that it will unleash a plethora of pumpkin products by August 27. Things included on the Dunkin’ roster include pumpkin and maple pecan-flavored coffees and pumpkin donuts plus an apple crisp donut and a maple cream cheese spread for bagels.

Meanwhile, it appears Starbucks will unleash the Pumpkin Spice Latte on August 28, according to Business Insider. This would be the first time Starbucks has started selling PSLs before September since 2014.

Parade has the details of all the other pumpkin things that are coming including English muffins (for some reason), A Dairy Queen Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, Target’s roster of pumpkin stuff, and more.

No word yet on when Trader Joe’s will transform its stores into 99% pumpkin spice products (with 1% cookie butter still allowed on the shelves), but it will surely happen soon.

By the way, the first official day of autumn is September 22.
