Idyllwild ‘bud and breakfast’ named one of the ‘most incredible hotels in the world’

The Honeymoon Suite at Hicksville Pines Bud and Breakfast (Hicksville Pines)

Hicksville Pines, a small weed-friendly motel in Idyllwild, was named to “Fodor’s Finest: The 100 Most Incredible Hotels in the World” this week.

Just 15 hotels in the United States made the list, with Hicksville Pines being selected due to its “immaculate and wildly creative” decor and furnishings – which include themes like a Dolly Parton room that rents out for $125 to $175 per night, a Twin Peaks style cabin ($250 to $300), a room where it’s Christmas all year ($150 to $200), and a “Nerds!” room with a bunk bed plus movie decor and games ($150 to $200).

The property also features the 420 Room with blacklight posters above the bed ($150 to $200).
