After almost an entire week of (dare I say enjoyable) rain, the weather is expected to take another turn in the Coachella Valley with some strong-ass winds moving in at the beginning of the week.
A wind advisory is in effect for the Greater Palm Springs Area from Sunday night through Monday night – with gusts of above 50 mph possible in some areas of the desert.
We're expecting strong winds in the mountains and deserts tonight into Monday morning. These winds could lead to dangerous driving conditions. Drive safe! #cawx pic.twitter.com/KqEwgeVELA

That, of course, could making driving a little treacherous, so be careful out there. Also, you might want to make sure your patio furniture is weighted down – so it doesn’t end up blowing into your neighbor’s pool or something.
In addition to the rain/snow across CA & NV, there's plenty of wind too! High Wind Warnings extend from Palm Springs to Vegas southeast toward Albuquerque into Monday for gusts reaching 70 mph. @breakingweather pic.twitter.com/9bjuKgxZTn
