Tom Hanks made an appearance in Rancho Mirage on Tuesday night at the public library and, hey, he made a locals joke.
The actor, who may or may not have stopped into In-N-Out Burger in the IE on his way to the Coachella Valley, chatted it up with journalist Maureen Dowd about his book Uncommon Type: Some Stories at the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival.
When Dowd asked Hanks what his first act would be if he was elected President, he nailed it with an answer involving a local street names…
