Mammoth Mountain has received almost 7 feet of snow since Saturday

Good news for fans of snowboarding and drought-busting as Mammoth Mountain has seen a ridiculous amount of snow fall since Saturday.

Another 2-3 feet of snow brings the current storm total to 79-117”! That’s just about 10 FEET since Saturday. ?Main Lodge and @junemountain will remain closed today due to blizzard conditions. ?Snowfall and strong and damaging winds are expected today with clearing skies for Wed and Thurs. The area has reportedly seen 81 inches of the white stuff since Saturday, according to ABC 7 – and the forecast says there is more on the way.

The resort had to close many of its ski lifts on Monday due to strong winds, but, wow, the skiing should be good once things clear out.
