A 40-year-old Twentynine Palms woman was arrested on Tuesday after investigators say she was sexually exploiting a minor.
Investigators received a tip in March about Catherine Englebrick, according to Z107.7. After a lengthy investigation, detectives from the Sheriff’s Crimes Against Children Detail and the Human Trafficking Task Force learned that in she produced a pornographic video of herself and a female juvenile in August 2018. In addition, investigators say she took nude photos of the girl and sold the photos along with the video online through social media.
Police also claim that Englebrick tried to persuade the girl to have sex with a man in exchange for a cell phone.
Deputies served a search warrant on Englebrick’s home on El Rey Avenue in Twentynine Palms on Tuesday. She was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking a juvenile and production of child pornography.
