A woman is dead as the result of a fatal crash on the 60 Freeway in Beaumont on Wednesday.
The driver, a woman who was about 50, was partially ejected from her pickup and crushed by the overturned vehicle, reports the Desert Sun.
The woman was driving east on Highway 60 a little before 1 pm when she drifted from the left lane to the shoulder, according to the CHP. The vehicle then overturned down a small embankment before striking a chain-link fence where the unrestrained woman was then partially ejected and crushed by her truck.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
