A corporal in the Marine Corps stationed in Twentynine Palms was arrested on Saturday, accused of bigamy.
Zakarius Harper was questioned at his Yucca Valley home on Saturday after officials say he tried to register two wives in different states for military benefits, reports Z107.7. He was arrested just before 1 pm on suspicion of bigamy by deputies with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.
It’s not clear if the Marine Corps will pursue charges against Harper, who enlisted with the Marines in 2017.
