Fire crews responded to a blaze at a Palm Desert apartment on Saturday that left one person with moderate injuries.
Five engines responded to the fire, which was first reported just before 6:30 am on California drive, south of New Mexico drive.

The fire was contained in just over 30 minutes. A resident was taken to the hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
