The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced the passing of Deputy Terrell Young, who died from COVID-19.
Young had served with the Sheriff’s Department for 15 years. The Desert Sun reports that he was a husband and father of four.

“We are saddened to announce the passing of one of our own RSO family members, Deputy Terrell Young,” The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement. “Terrell Young served this department for 15 yrs & is the 1st member to succumb to the COVID-19 virus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
