Fire crews were able to contain a vegetation fire that broke out in Thermal on Friday night.
The blaze was reported about 9 pm on Polk Street.

Fire crews arrived to find vegetation and several palm trees on fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to 5.27 acres by 11:33 pm.

There were no reported injuries.
