Desert Ice Castle, the Coachella Valley’s only ice skating rink, is permanently closing its doors.
A message on the Cathedral City facility’s website says that the closure is effective immediately due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are proud to have served the community for over 10 years,” the note says. Later adding, “We would like to take this opportunity to thank our patrons and everyone in the community for their loyalty and many years of support.”
