Update: This is a listing for 2015, if you are looking for a 2016 listing, click here.

Previous years have brought just a few options for seeing fireworks in and around The Coachella Valley – but this year, there are plenty of choices to choose from.   And you do not even have to wait until the 4th (or stop just because it is the 5th).

Here is your Independence Day firework show rundown:

July 2nd

Indio

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino kicks off America’s birthday early with the Coachella Valley’s first firework display of the weekend on Thursday, July 2nd.

The all-ages show is free and happens at Eagle Falls Golf Course at about 9 p.m. Bring a folding chair and show up early for a good spot. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

July 4th

Beaumont

Beaumont is launching its summer concert series on the 4th with performances by “The Basix” followed by “Hotel California” starting at 5 p.m. at Stewart Park between 9th Street and 11th Street. The event is free, you can bring a chair or blanket, and there will be grub and drinks on hand to buy. The day will culminate with a “Pyro Spectacular”.

Palm Desert

The Palm Desert Civic Center is home once again to a 4th of July event. Things get officially started at 7:15 p.m. with the singing of our National Anthem, followed by a concert at 7:30 p.m.

You can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks (just no booze) to the party – which concludes with a firework show at 9 p.m. Since parking can be kind of a pain at the park, this year you can park and shuttle in from The Gardens on El Paseo starting at 6 p.m. – which should not be a problem as El Paseo usually shuts down at 3 p.m. anyway.

Palm Springs

Those watching the fireworks in Palm Springs can take in a bit of baseball first. The Palm Springs Power hosts The San Francisco Seals at 6:05 p.m. Tickets are $8.

Those who are Un-American and do not care for the greatest game ever invented can still see the fireworks at Palm Springs Stadium for free as the gates will allow for free admission starting at 8:00 p.m. The “All American Fourth of July” fireworks display is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. You can bring blankets and lawn chairs to sit on the field.

Rancho Mirage

You can bring a lawn chair to Agua Caliente Casino as they have a 9 p.m. fireworks show planned. It is free to go and there will be food and drinks on hand – but no liquor as it will be an alcohol-free event.

Twentynine Palms

Starting at 4:00 p.m., Luckie Park will play host to a display of military vehicles, games, prizes, a “duck pluck” raffle, bounce houses, live music, and food vendors. Those under 10 can also enjoy water slides and the park’s swimming pool will be open until 8:30pm. Then at 9 p.m., you guess it: there will be fireworks.

July 5th

Desert Hot Springs

You can keep on celebrating on into the 5th of July this year as Desert Hot Springs has an Independence Day after-party happening on Sunday, July 5.

The party is happening at the corner of Little Morongo Road and Mission Lakes Blvd starting at 6 p.m. and will include live music, food trucks, and fireworks.  Be sure to bring a chair.

Have a great and safe 4th of July everyone!
