ABC suspends license at Thousand Palms restaurant after agents say they purchased cocaine

A Notice of Suspension was posted by agents of the California Alcoholic Beverage Control at a Thousand Palms Mexican Restaurant after agents say they were able to purchase cocaine on multiple occasions at the eatery.

Mundo’s Mexican Grill on Ramon Road had its license suspended for 30 days with a revocation stayed for 180 days to allow for a license transfer, the suspension will remain in place until the transfer, according to the ABC.

The suspension, according to the news release, “was a result of a narcotics investigation in which ABC agents were able to purchase narcotics, specifically cocaine, directly from an officer of the corporation on three separate occasions.”
