After stopping in town for a whopping 3 hours, Trump bashes Palm Springs (again)

Donald Trump, a man who once declared he wouldn’t accept campaign donations, made a quick stop in the Coachella Valley this week to grab checks from the Larry Ellison, a local gas station owner, and some other One-Percenters (which will soon likely end up in his own bank account), then headed out on Air Force One to host a few rallies, where he went on to bash Palm Springs (again).

While in Colorado Springs on Thursday, Trump told the of windmills, “And they’re all over the place. You look at Palm Springs, California. Take a look. Palm Springs. … They’re all over the place. They’re closed, they’re rotting, they look like hell.”

He also ranted on about bald eagles and windmills, which you can see below.

And while some may wonder what, exactly, Trump has against windmills, it really just comes down to the fact that he lost a court battle with the Scotland over the placement of windmills near one of his golf courses a while back, so now we have to hear him talk shit about them and how they cause windmill cancer forever – which is ridiculous but also better for your reelection chances than telling voters you are going to take away their healthcare after the election.

And a side note here: because I know the Facebook comments will blow up about this post – as they always do when Cactus Hugs posts the things Trump says using his mouth –  here’s the thing. When it comes to our town, I don’t care if it’s Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, or the ghost of Abraham Lincoln.  No matter who they are, if they’re going to talk your shit about our desert, they’re going to get called out for it.

Because the only people that get to talk shit about our windmills, Palm Springs, and the Coachella Valley are the people that fucking live here.

    Yes!

    You’re awesome, Casey!

  2. Cactus Hugs, this is spot on! I’m neither a Republican nor Democrat, so my feelings towards Trump are not coloring what I’m about to say: But when you come to my desert, my corner of paradise, if you will, you darn sure better not bash! Keep going if you can’t keep your mouth shut! Tourism is the main source of income for our valley. If you don’t love it? Fine. But don’t kill our source bc you didn’t fit in here. And THAT, folks, is the real problem. #seeya #wouldntwannabeya #poofbegone

  3. The Desert has become crappy. I lived there all my life, and saw the windmills come in and the promises that were made. All the tourism, is now in Palm Desert and La Quinta. Palm Springs is outdated. I concur Mr. President!

  4. Windmills do what they are supposed to do and we all benefit from them. Only affect they have on Palm Springs or the desert is in a positive way. I guess you want to live next to a coal or nuclear plant instead? Those are great for tourism and property values, lol. Remember this, toxic lying politicians only want to feed off stupid peoples negativity to get reelected. Guess what stupid people, you are still not going to benefit from him. He is only out for himself and his circle jerk friends. This article tells it like it is.

  5. I was born and raised here in Palm Springs, CA and let me explain to all of you. It has it’s natural beauty as far as the rest is concerned if you all don’t like what you see (wind mills, birds) and such you are all free to leave Palm Springs, CA. We certainly don’t need more people like you here, we are laid back and relaxed type most certainly happy with what we grew up with here.

  6. I was surrounded by MAGAts at the Palm Springs airport when Trump came to town. I stood firm with my Impeached Forever sign & flipped him the bird as he drove by. I later learned he bussed people in- which explained why so many MAGAts were there- in our rather progressive city.
One thing is for sure- I will never attend the Indian Wells Tennis Open again. PS didn’t deserve this evil coming to our beautiful city! Stay away, trump!
