Police announced the arrests of eight people in Anza on Friday in connection with an alleged “large-scale marijuana grow operation.”
Authorities served a search warrant on Tripp Flats Road about 7 a.m. Thursday, reports KTLA. Investigators searched the property and determined that the operation “was in violation of illegally cultivating marijuana for the purposes of monetary profit.”
3,505 marijuana plants were confiscated, according to the Press Enterprise.
The arrestees were identified by the Sheriff’s Department as: Saobory Yin, 35, of Wisconsin; Avelino Partida, 28, of Wisconsin; Bountong Vatsna, 46, of California; Amme Lee, 32, of Alabama; Thieng Sopha, 38, of Alabama; May Yang, 49, of Wisconsin; Thoa Lee, 39, of Wisconsin; and Youa Kue, 51, of Wisconsin.
