A bear is dead after being hit on the 10 Freeway Sunday night.
The crash happened a little after 9 pm, a CHP spokesman told the Desert Sun. A Honda Ridgeline struck the animal just east of Morongo Trail.
No one in the Honda was hurt.
No other information was provided.
