Everyone loves a good sandwich and the Coachella Valley offers up quite a few of them that are pretty damn tasty. But what sandwich stands above all the rest?

Now let me be clear: I am not asking which sandwich joint is the best overall, I am asking what is the one particular sammy that is the king of Sandwich Mountain – which should really be a place now that I think of it.

As loyal Cactus Hugs readers know, we have pointed out some damn good sandwich restaurants in the desert (for example, here are 5 pretty delicious ones found in town) – but, odds are we probably missed at least one or two and those sandwiches might just be the best in town!

*Note: everyone knows that a hot dog is not a sandwich, so do not even go there.
