A 34-year-old man is dead after he was struck while riding a bicycle in Coachella early Sunday morning.
Raul Gulliver was hit a little before 2 am, according to KESQ. Gulliver was struck by a car driving in the opposite direction on Grapefruit Boulevard and Mitchell Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 32-year-old Hector Polanco of Coachella, was was arrested for two felonies: driving under the influence causing bodily injury and driving under the influence of alcohol with injury.
