It’s past the midway mark of May, but that didn’t stop Mother Nature from dropping a bunch of snow in Big Bear.
The National Weather Service says an inch of snow fell at the lake, with more (up to 5 inches) around the foothills of town

As the NWS notes, it’s the third highest amount of snow to fall in the region during the month of May.
