A truck hauling 40,000 pounds of butter overturned on the 10 Freeway on Friday morning, according to KESQ.
The driver and passenger sustained minor injuries in the crash, which happened a little before 7 am. Both were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center.
Crews spent most of the day cleaning up Earth Balance vegetable butter off the roadway of the 8th Street onramp, where the truck ended up after the driver lost control of the big rig.
No word on the condition of the truck, but here’s guessing it’s toast.
