Police are investigating after discovering a man’s body inside a home in the unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs on Thursday night.
The body had “obvious signs of trauma” and was found by deputies who had responded to a “suspicious circumstances” call to a residence on Via Corto West about 10:42 pm, according to a news release.

The victim’s name is being withheld until his family is notified.
