The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department sent out its hazard-materials and bomb squad teams to a Bermuda Dunes home on Monday.
Sheriff’s officials tweeted that Technicals used a total containment vessel (TCV) to safely dispose of explosive materials in a populated area.
All explosive ? hazards from the Darrell Road location in Bermuda Dunes have been rendered safe with the use of a TCV( total containment vessel). This piece of equipment allows Bomb techs to safely dispose/render safe explosives in a populated area.

Officials had been called to the home on Darrell Road on Monday to investigate. The department tweeted that there was no threat to the public.
RSO Hazardous Device Team is working an investigation on Darrell Road in Bermuda Dunes. Several Bomb Techs from our allied agencies are assisting in this investigation.
