Border Patrol agents made yet another drug bust Wednesday morning – but this time, rather than weed stuffed in a mattress truck or cocaine stashed under a seat, some dude got really creative and jammed a bunch of meth into a car battery casing.
Border Patrol agents at the Highway 86 checkpoint were alerted to the front of the 2002 Nissan Sentra by a canine. That is when they spotted two packages of over 6 pounds of meth jammed inside the battery housing.
According to the border patrol, the 27-year-old guy was a US citizen.
